sc3- South Carolina Computing Consortium is a partnership among five major research institutions in South Carolina for the development of cyberinfrastructure throughout the state.
sc3was created in spring 2007 to:

  1. foster cyberinfrastructure-enabled research and education in South Carolina
  2. promote the key role cyberinfrastructure plays in growing South Carolina’s knowledge-based economy
  3. showcase South Carolina cyberinfrastructure projects at SC07

sc3’s presence at SC07 is supported by:

  1. Clemson Computing and Information Technology (CCIT)
  2. The College of Engineering and Science at Clemson University
  3. Charter Business

sc3is an initiative spearheaded by Clemson University CIO Jim Bottum.
